I started training in Ju Jitsu in 1995. I have been a professional full-time instructor for 21 years with clubs in Norfolk & Suffolk. Established clubs in Thetford, Brandon, Dereham, RAF Lakenheath & Watton. I have been and continue to represent martial arts for The Presidents Sporting Club, which gives disabled children the opportunity to engage in various sporting activities. Ju Jitsu can teach realistic self-defence, regardless of age, build or sex. My classes will allow those wishing to join, the opportunity to progress to different grades or to continue training at a level or pace that will suit the individual. Classes will contain a mixture of fitness and techniques and will be suitable for all levels. There is no pressure on any individual to progress unless they wish to.

JU JITSU UK has been credited as a British Martial Arts & Boxing association (BMABA) School of Excellence, following a comprehensive review & vetting of our organisation as part of the associations industry leading Club Colours Award.

This award attests that JU JITSU UK has demonstrated the highest level of vetting in the UK for martial arts, and demonstrated their ongoing commitment to SAFER SPORT, by the SAFEGUARDING CODE in Martial Arts.

Terry started training at the Thetford Club back in July 2001, starting in the infant class working through the junior class, teenager class and into the adult class. he has supported the club involving events, like demonstrations championships, Summer camps and much more. Due to his commitment to the club and JU JITSU UK, he has become a Volunteer Instructor. He has an enhanced DBS Check and is fully insured.

We have designated our Governing Body, British Martial Arts & Boxing Association (BMABA) to act as our club’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). BMABA can provide an impartial and expert response to safeguarding concerns if you do not feel you can raise it with our club directly.
